How Healthy Is An Organic Garden: Find The Truth Now!

By Jane Clark

Is organic some prized thing, or is it just like a lot of the food that we can buy at grocery stores? Almost everywhere you go any more, there's dialogue about organic gardening. When you buy organic and natural food whether it is fruits or vegetables, are you ever curious about how safe it is? In this piece, you will learn some new information about organic food that you may not have known.

33% of the food purchased in great britain was shown to have measurable levels of pesticides and chemicals within them, and this was done by a scientist in the UK. These kinds of chemicals were used to enhance the crops, and are known to be harmful to the human body. Precisely the same study demonstrated that this was a fact throughout the developed world, and the levels of contamination were almost the same, and it wasn't any different for organic food. The toxic contamination was primarily caused by the water in the ground that was consumed by the plants. Pesticides and fertilizers make it possible for plants to grow bigger and more quickly but it seems that this has been done at a price.

All these chemicals entered into the ground water tables, and are contaminating everything. The only way to not use toxified water is to use distilled water but this will stop proper nutrients from growing. Yet another way contamination can be spread is actually by the wind. When the wind is blowing around, chemicals can definitely be transferred to other locations. The air is brimming with contaminants, from who knows what poisons, or where they come from, but they frequently circle the globe. Organic gardens can be in danger because of the wind.

Who knows what could be whirling around in the air and even the best safety measures might not work. Unfortunately, unborn and newly born children may be at the mercy of these pesticides. The pesticides within the food may very well be part of a bigger problem in the world that we have yet to foresee. Certain types of cancer, malfunction of the nervous system, weakening immune system, and poor health have all been linked to some of the chemicals in our food.

Safe guarding your food by scrubbing them isn't as true as many people say it is. Washing it may help only when the chemicals are still on the outside, but often they have already leeched within the vegetable or into the skin. This information showed you that organic food may be just as bad as food from a grocery store or supermarket. Even so, they are in all probability still more healthy than what you get at a supermarket.
