Marijuana Seeds

By Castulo Zane

Marijuana cultivation starts with seeds. Without them you can't even begin. It's the first step, without question.

You can get marijuana seeds a variety of ways. If you're fortunate enough to have some weed that you like which has seeds in it, there you go. Clean the weed and harvest the seeds. That's pretty simple, except that most weed these days comes without seeds. In fact, it's been that way so long that it's not even called "sin semilla", which was what we called it in the old days before growing only females was common. All that has changed. In fact, once you've started growing you'll be able to choose a good female and clone her.

Another way to get seeds is to buy them. In some areas there are stores that sell them over the counter. You can also buy them from magazines or over the internet. There are lots of online sources based outside of the United States. The advantage to doing it this way is that you have a wider variety of choice. However, it may be illegal, so check your local laws.

You need to get seeds somehow, whether online, from a friend, or a bag of weed. They can come from anywhere as long as they are good.

Different types of marijuana produce different seeds. This is to be expected. Some are big and fat. Some are small.

They come in all colors and patterns - light, dark, mottled, blotchy.

None of that matters. What matters is that you have viable, fully matured seeds. The shells should be hard and shiny, and should not be easy to crush.

Seeds that are tiny, soft and bright green are likely immature. Get new ones or your project will be a bust and you'll be bummed out. Get good seeds from the get-go.

Remember - growing marijuana -even buying seeds online- may be illegal in your area. Be careful. Don't break the law.
