Micro Gardening with LED's

By Rowdy Harvster

Micro Gardening is rapidly growing form of cultivation. Some might be thinking Bonsai right now but it is surely not.

Bonsai requires lots of time and training techniques. This is why the cost of a fully trained bonsai tree is expensive. The difference between the two is variety and speed.

Micro Gardening utilizes the way of hindering the plants growth early in the season to produce a stout plant. Some beings use the LST technique which is tieing the branches down to create even growth among the whole stalk of the plant.

It is crucial that a micro gardener study the variety of plant he or she is growing. For the most part, vegetable plants and various herb plants are conditionally used in traditional Micro Gardens.

What nutrients you should feed the plants will vary. To get the biggest vegetables, a flowering type nutrient should be used.

Photoperiod varieties should start under 12 hours or less of light per day to start the flowering process quickly. There are strains that automatically flower which won't need a light hour adjustment. These autoflowering strains need a few hours of darkness as the plant makes micro nutrients in the base and roots at this time.

Some have been known for using trash cans or dark trash bags over their plants to reduce light their plants get during the summer days. It is more practical to use an indoor area for your micro gardening needs.

Last but not least is the what kind of light that is most beneficial to your micro farm. You need lot of it and it has to be the blend required by the plants according to their stage of growth. The sun works to but isn't for inside gardening. Plants won't thrive in heated situations that increase energy costs.
